FLORENCE FASHION

Private financing to save monumental and public architectural works: this is the idea of Media Firenze Group Italia srl with ‘Firenze Fashion’. In fact, this sponsorship program provides that historic buildings can become exceptional locations to finance their own restoration.

RestArte – Foundation for Cultural Heritage was founded in June 2007 with this very objective: to restore the Ammannati Courtyard of Palazzo Pitti following urgent interventions due to the fall of stone fragments of the cornice, for which a complex and complete restoration worth 500 thousand euros was necessary.

Firenze Fashion, an event welcomed by the Superintendence of the Cultural Heritage of Florence, with the organization of fashion events, social commitment and culture combines entrepreneurship and art making the participating companies, protagonists and participants in the restoration of the courtyard of Palazzo Pitti.
